Hi! Welcome to the digital home of Constantinos Kouloumbris!. In this page I will try to cover all the things that make me who I am. Now would be a good time to run or feel free to browse around, digg into the Archives, or just go ahead and read the (almost) uninteresting stuff about me and this site.
About me
I came into this world on a hot August night. That wonderful night was August 13th 1981. After that I spent some time going to school, some time in the Army, and some time going to school again… Currently I am working with Cablenet Communication Systems Ltd in Nicosia Cyprus which is my home town and country.
Interesting things of note might be that I love computers and have done since the dawn of time. I started my initiation into computers with MsDos moving on to Windows 3.11 and later on to Windows 95/98/2000/XP. At some point after Windows 95 I discovered Linux and specially the RedHat distribution, which holds a special place in my heart, after that Windows just isn’t enough. In August 2005 I bought my first Apple Computer which is a 15″ PowerBook G4 and I would happily say that Mac Os X is the best thing to computers after Linux of course. For all those out there that are using Windows, all I can say is… Why?
It is also worth mentioning that I am a huge movie fun and you can find all the movies I’ve talked about in this weblog under the movie colletion page or see a list of all the movies that I have seen in my Narvoo movie list, which I recently found and doesn’t have all the movies I’ve seen yet.

This site is proudly powered by WordPress, an awesome blogging platform, and of course by lots of fairies, elves and lots of other magical creatures. It is also extended by a number of plugins and functions so that it suits my needs.

- I’ve lived outside Cyprus for about 2 years, in Sheffield UK.
- All times on this site are GMT+2, timezone used in Cyprus.
- Google, Wikipedia and Google Reader must be the most useful websites on the internet.
- I absolutely love TV-series; I follow Smallville, Heroes, Eureka, Kyle XY, Knight Rider, Merlin and NCIS. Sometimes I watch CSI (Las Vegas, Miami, New York), and I used to watch Charmed and of course Will & Grace, but they are over now
. Although most of the TV-series I watch is on DVD 
. - I try to read, but since I only like Sci-Fi Books I find it hard to find good ones. Currently I like J.K. Rowling and Raymond E. Feist.
- I love Apple products and I have switched to a 15″ Powerbook in August 2005.
- I listen to a wide range of music, I tend to believe that I don’t like artists blindly but the music.
- I have a Google Reader a Digg and a del.icio.us account, updated often.
- I have a weakness for Starbucks coffee.
- I believe the Internet is the greatest invention since the keyboard.
- I’ve recently found Narvoo movies and I’m trying to create a Narvoo movie list of all the movies I’ve seen in my life. I also have a movie collection page in this weblog that holds the movies I’ve talked about.
