To Update or not To Update

Hello people it’s been a while since we talked. The main reason for that is because I want to update this site both theme based and engine based. So lets talk about both of the separate.

Theme

The theme grew old on me, so I would like to change it. The only problem is that I don’t know what I want the new one to look like, so if you have any ideas let me know.

Engine

Wordpress has been good to me all this years and I don’t think I will change it but 60% of the plugins I use do not work and 10% of them have gone off production so they are no longer available.

So I need to decide:

  1. Leave the site as is and just write more.
  2. Update the theme only.
  3. Update both theme and engine with worpdress and making everything work (possible fixing the plugins that need to be fixed).
  4. Change engine and theme.

Your opinions are welcome.

    I think you have to update both engine and design if you are not 100% pleased with it!
    As for the plugins, most likely they are not needed anymore that’s why they are not up to date. Good luck! :)
