A friend send me an email the other day suggesting that I should have some sort of puzzles in my blog. Now that’s a nice idea. Up to now I only had jokes that I got from some spam emails that I have been receiving.
So I decided to give this a try and here is a puzzle called “Boys of the Band” it’s not that hard so we shall see who will find the correct answer first. And remember no peeking I mean searching the web.
The So Kool Record company recently held auditions across the country to find four singers to form a new band. The four guys chosen are now super-stars but can you work out each guy’s previous day job, his age (19,20,21,22) and home town?
- Greg is exactly two years younger or older than the guy from Cleveland who used to be a truck driver.
- Either Darren or the guy from Seattle (who may or may not be Patrick) used to deliver pizzas.
- The guy from New York is younger than Daniel but older than the one who used to be a carpenter.
- The 22 year old from San Francisco isn’t the one who used to be a waiter.
Okay, is this right?
Greg is 19, lives in Seattle and was a Carpenter.
Patrick is 20, lives in New York and was a Waiter.
Daniel is 21, lives in Cleaveland and was a truck driver.
Darren is 22, lives in San Fransisco and was a pizza delivery boy.
I think it works, doesn’t it?
