Hello people it’s been a while since we talked. The main reason for that is because I want to update this site both theme based and engine based. So lets talk about both of the separate.
Theme
The theme grew old on me, so I would like to change it. The only problem is that I don’t know what I want the new one to look like, so if you have any ideas let me know.
Engine
Wordpress has been good to me all this years and I don’t think I will change it but 60% of the plugins I use do not work and 10% of them have gone off production so they are no longer available.
So I need to decide:
- Leave the site as is and just write more.
- Update the theme only.
- Update both theme and engine with worpdress and making everything work (possible fixing the plugins that need to be fixed).
- Change engine and theme.
Your opinions are welcome.

Yes I am back, with a list of thinks that make you geek.
The one’s in bold, are the ones that apply to me. Please comment what goes for you.
- You’d rather communicate with people via e-mail, text messaging, instant message, or Twitter, then face to face, because “it’s just easier that way.” But it is…
- If you’ve ever used “Joshua” as a password and thought you were being clever.
- 16GB flash drive “just doesn’t hold enough.” So true…
- You buy a gadget just for the thrill of hacking it.
- You say phrases like “Make it so!” and “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for”, when you talk to people.
- You write “text” in blocks of “140 Characters.”
- You have an LCD monitor 20″ or greater, or a multiple monitor setup.
- You do arithmetic in computer language (i.e. binary, ASCII) to impress friends, family and acquaintances.
- You have more friends in the ‘virtual world’ than in real life!
- You wear T-shirts with Star Wars, Stark Trek or any computer-related visuals on them.*
- You have a computer server at home… which has a name… in the basement… of your parents’ house…..which is called your “Command Center†or NORAD (after watching WarGames)… extra Geek points if your home server is named: W.O.P.R. or HAL.* It’s named ‘dracula’.
- You have a junkyard full of extra computer parts in your garage.
- You built your own PC and giggle when people tell you they have a Dell or HP computer.
- Your PC has 4GB of RAM OR MORE…
- You’re proud of your own built PC that’s so powerful it rivals IBM’s Blue Gene Supercomputer.
- You carry a USB flash drive in your pocket regardless of where you go.
- When you’re bored you take apart your desktop, laptop, television, DVD, DVR or cable box for fun.
- Friends, family and family friends’ friends, call you asking for computer help.
- You are fluent in the Klingon language.
- You have a cable internet connection but would like a T-1 line if it was reasonably affordable.
- You give your servers little pet names ex: Maximus or WOPR.
- You know that W.O.P.R. doesn’t refer to just a hamburger
- Red Bulls and frozen dinners are a daily part of your diet.
- When you yell at your radio whenever a “Computer Show” airs because you think the host is an idiot…
- You listen to the idiot anyway…
- World of Warcraft is constantly on your to-do list.
- You have four (or more) computers at your house, and it “just isn’t enough.”
- You know that Debian, Ubuntu and Mandrake are just funny kids names.
- You actually name your kids Debian, Ubuntu or Mandrake.
- You’ve ever used “12345″ as a password and thought you were being clever.
- No matter how fast your computer turns on, it still isn’t “fast enough”… even if it is just waking up from a sleep mode.
- You passionately argue the virtues of (pick ‘em): Windows vs. Apple vs. Linux / ATI vs. nVidia / AMD vs. Intel / LCD vs. Plasma / Star Wars vs. Star Trek vs. / Comics vs. Graphic Novels / HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray / USB vs. Firewire / Jobs vs. Gates / etc. etc…
- You loathe people who buy iPods, iPhones, or iTouches just because they are the hip things to own.
- You secretly covet having an iPod, iPhone, or iTouch - but are too embarrassed to own one because of what your geek friends would think.
- Your family calls you to fix their computers… so do your non-geek friends (or friend)… so do strangers…
- You have major farmer’s tan!
- You own five or more useless gadgets that run off your USB ports.
- Your “laptop” with its massive 20-inch screen weighs more then your “desktop computer.”
- You’ve gotten this far READING THIS LIST!

Yesterday I turned 0×1A years old. For the non geeky guys thats 26 :).
I wasn’t planning on having a party or anything other than a few closed friends to have some Vodka. Well when I arrived home the same friends surprised me with a cake and of course some Vodka.
Anyway it’s safe to say that we had fun…
And on another note who would have thought that after getting my first Apple computer last year, I would end up being an Apple fun and actually owning a desktop 24″ iMac and a new MacBook laptop.

Hello everybody, as you can see from the above command there are a lot of pending things in my life.
Most of you will be wondering what the hell is going on. Well you would be right I am kind of lost, and I haven’t update this weblog for a very very long time. Sometimes it seams like years, but it’s only been months (160 days to be exact…) ;). I do try to check the comments and reply to them as often as I can.
Now here are some updates.
This blog
The blog engine has been update to the latest version. There are a few bugs but mostly with the administrative plugins and do not infect the entries.
The plugins
I am in the process of reviewing and rewriting the plugins image2post and current-mood. So now it’s the time to get those comments and improvement requests coming in. Also it would be great if you could report any bugs.
Life
Well there are a lot of things going on right. Most of them are work related. Unfortunately I can not disclose any information so stay tuned and I will give updates as soon as I can.
I know it looks like I am neglecting this weblog. That is not the case, I keep telling my self.

A friend went to Paphos for the weekend and took this picture. We then photoshoped in my attempt to show him a few photoshop filters. Since this was his first experience with photoshop since version 4 i think we played a little with the filters giving it the above effect. Also you can see a more extreme of the above effect over at my flickr account.
