After more than a week of downtime I am back online again. What was the problem I hear you ask? Well in that case here it is.

There was a DDoS attack to the server that was initially thought to be a problem with the latest update of cPanel. This particular attacker(s) was smart because he was using ranges or IP so when they where blocking an IP range they where only locking him out for a couple of hours.

Later on (after a few days) they decided to move the server to a new data center. In doing so everything went offline, until I received an email from them to change my DNS records.

What annoys me?

I had no access to the server and they did not bother emailing me, letting me know of what was going on. They posted a message in the cPanel saying what the problem was. HALOOU Stupid… The server is down how am I going to see that message???

I wasn’t inform of the move until the new server was setup and ready and I was only informed that they changed data centers not that they have setup a new server and copied everything there. HALOOU The OS is different…

Regardless to say that I am not renewing my hosting solution to this service.
