More Changes

I’ve made a lot of changes to the website, so here is a list of things before I forget.

New theme using the famous K2 by Michael and Chris.
Moved from categories to tags.
Deleted all categories and created only 4 general ones, Journal, Clippings, Noteworthy and Film-Reviews. This was done due to the implantation of tags thus giving me more flexibility and giving the user more options when searching for something.
Created a Flickr account you can see my photos using the flickr option on the top, or the latest 4 on the sidebar.

That’s all for now, if I remember anything else I will update this post.

Hello people,

Just thought I give you heads on, on some changes I’ve during the process of making thinks working again.

Most important one is the change in the url’s. For example this post url was http://kouloumbris.com/2005/11/12/changes-2/ now it’s going to be the same but with an archives stuck between the word weblog and the current year. e.g. http://kouloumbris.com/archives/2005/11/12/changes-2/. So if you find a broken link let me know and I will fix it. Also the pages links did not change.
I’ve changed the search option in the sidebar to a live search. Now all you need to do is to type what you want and wait. Results should appear under the search box, if they don’t just press enter and you will do an old search as it used to be.

The server problem has been fixed but neither me or my hosts tech support knows how…

I have decided that I will clean up this website and weblog plus I will create a new theme based on the K2. The reasons behind this are MySQL cleanup, some plugins no longer used. Expect very few posts and loads of bugs while i do this. But first I will move this weblog to a new server. So what I will do I have bought a new domain for the weblog it’s more like an easy forward to the current one since my surname is so hard to spell for some people. I will setup everything to this new domain and I will only merge the two blogs when all the posts have been copied.
