Working on an IT Helpdesk

I Think working on an IT help desk is a special calling….
These are true Telephone conversations recorded from various Help Desks around the U.K

Helpdesk: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: A white one…

Customer: Hi, this is Celine. I can’t get my diskette out.
Helpdesk: Have you tried pushing the button?
Customer: Yes, but it’s really stuck.
Helpdesk: That doesn’t sound good; I’ll make a note …
Customer: No … wait a minute… I hadn’t inserted it yet… it’s still on my desk… sorry ….

What is there to say, it’s Scary Movie number 4. If you’ve seen the horror movies that it’s making fun of then you ought to see this as well. I haven’t seen all of them, for example I haven’t seen Saw, but I still loved it. I would like to see it again, but I will wait when it comes to DVD.

Fun with Dick and Jane

Directed by: Dean Parisot

Genres: Comedy, Crime

Tagline: See Dick Run

Plot Outline: An update of the 1977 comedy, Dick and Jane are living the good life. That is until Dick (Jim Carrey) loses his job shortly after getting a promotion that convinced his wife Jane (Téa Leoni) to quit her job. The money is gone, and the house ends up in foreclosure. Dick decides to turn to a hilarious life of crime to pay the bills with his lovely wife by his side. Then together they decide it’s time to steal back what Former CEO Jack McCallister (Alec Baldwin) had stolen from them.

My Rating: 7.0 [rate 3.5]

Cast: Jim Carrey, Téa Leoni, Alec Baldwin, Richard Jenkins, Angie Harmon, John Michael Higgins, Richard Burgi, Carlos Jacott, Aaron Michael Drozin, Gloria Garayua, Michelle Arthur, Stacey Travis, Timm Sharp, David Herman, Dempsey Pappion

I didn’t see the 1977 original film, but when I saw that Jim Carrey was making yet another movie I knew I had to see it. The plot outline says everything, and come on any comedy with Jim Carrey is bound to be a success. I totally recommend it for a chill out night home.

Yours, Mine and Ours

Directed by: Raja Gosnell

Genres: Comedy, Family, Romance

Tagline: 18 kids. 2 families. 1 force of nature.

Plot Outline: A widowed Coast Guard Admiral and a widow handbag designer fall in love and marry, much to the dismay of her 10 and his 8 children.

My Rating: 6.0 [rate 3]

Cast: Dennis Quaid, Rene Russo, Sean Faris, Katija Pevec, Dean Collins, Tyler Patrick Jones, Haley Ramm, Brecken Palmer, Bridger Palmer, Ty Panitz, Danielle Panabaker, Drake Bell, Miki Ishikawa, Slade Pearce, Little JJ

It’s a kind of a Cheaper by the Dozen by splitting the parents and giving them both a lot of kids, as close to a dozen they could give without getting sued I guess. Making the kids completely different so that it will be funnier and more “difficult” to live together.

Overall I think that it’s a really nice, try with a lot of pranks. I believe that if this one came out before Cheaper by the Dozen then it would be an even more of a hit.
