Tagline: Take a Stand

Plot Outline: When a cure is found to treat mutations, lines are drawn amongst the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier (Stewart), and the Brotherhood, a band of powerful mutants organized under Xavier’s former ally, Magneto (McKellen).

My Rating: 9.0 [rate 4.5]

Cast: Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen, Anna Paquin, Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Shawn Ashmore, Aaron Stanford, Vinnie Jones, Patrick Stewart, Ben Foster, Dania Ramirez, Ellen Page

What is there to say I was waiting for this movie for too long. I am not at all happy with it, but I am giving it a 9/10 because it’s a great movie and has very nice special effects. Anyway I’ve read a lot of X-Men comics, which by the way don’t come cheap, and I am sorry if I am going to spoil it for some people but the Professor Charles Xavier doesn’t die and neither does Scott. I don’t if what they are trying to do, but I thought there were sticking to the storyline already been set by the comic books.

Anyway it’s a great film but it’s not the comic books coming to life on the big screen it’s a different storyline which is welcome by me, but I don’t know if everybody, especially X-Men fanatics will do the same.

Genres: Action, Adventure, Family, Fantasy

Tagline: A New Adventure From the World of Jumanji

My Rating: 3.0 [rate 1.5]

Cast: Jonah Bobo, Josh Hutcherson, Dax Shepard, Kristen Stewart, Tim Robbins, Frank Oz, John Alexander, Derek Mears, Douglas Tait, Joe Bucaro III, Jeff Wolfe

I am not going to say that I loved this film because that would be a lie, and I wouldn’t want to do that to you. To be honest the trailer gave hope of the film being really good, but then again I should have known better. Like most trailers this also had most of the good scenes in the trailer so no big surprise when there was nothing better in the movie.

Anyway enough said, I would suggest if you nothing better to do the you should see.

Underworld: Evolution

Plot Outline: As the war between vampires and werewolves rages on, the legacy of both races is revealed. The personal histories of Selene (Beckinsale), the vampire warrior, and Viktor (Nighy), the father of modern-day vampires, are also revealed.

My Rating: 8 [rate 4]

Cast: Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Tony Curran, Derek Jacobi, Bill Nighy, Michael Sheen, Steven Mackintosh, Shane Brolly, Scott McElroy, John Mann, Richard Cetrone, Mike Mukatis, Alexander Grant, Andrew Kavadas, Raoul Ganeev

Write about Underworld Evolution here.

If you’ve seen Underworld, then you need to see Underworld: Evolution. This movie picks up right where Underworld left at the very same scene. Underworld Evolution is indeed an evolution, an evolution of the first film.

There isn’t much to talk about evolution without disclosing information about it. If you are the person who has seen Underworld and after the movie was finished there were many questions in my mind. This film answers that giving background information about the everlasting battle between the Vampires and the Werwolves.
