self:~# apt-get lifeupdate Reading package lists… Done Building dependency tree… Done 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 160 not upgraded.
Hello everybody, as you can see from the above command there are a lot of pending things in my life. :D

Most of you will be wondering what the hell is going on. Well you would be right I am kind of lost, and I haven’t update this weblog for a very very long time. Sometimes it seams like years, but it’s only been months (160 days to be exact…) ;). I do try to check the comments and reply to them as often as I can.

Now here are some updates.

This blog

The blog engine has been update to the latest version. There are a few bugs but mostly with the administrative plugins and do not infect the entries.

The plugins

I am in the process of reviewing and rewriting the plugins image2post and current-mood. So now it’s the time to get those comments and improvement requests coming in. Also it would be great if you could report any bugs.

Life

Well there are a lot of things going on right. Most of them are work related. Unfortunately I can not disclose any information so stay tuned and I will give updates as soon as I can.

I know it looks like I am neglecting this weblog. That is not the case, I keep telling my self. ;)

I think the life cycle is all backwards

You should start out dead and get it out of the way. Then, you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension. Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You drink alcohol, you party, you’re generally promiscuous and you get ready for High School.

You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a baby, and then…

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like conditions; central heating, room service on tap, larger quarters every day, and then, you finish off as an orgasm!

I rest my case!

The above text has arrived in my mailbox a couple of days back, and since I agree with it, I thought of sharing it with you guys here.
