Just a Thought

If that really happen, I admire Steve Jobs even more.

The man grins as he examines the device. “Fun, schmun — this thing is really small. It looks like an iPod someone left in the dryer too long.”

Go over at MacObserver and read the article Just a Thought - Conversations With Steve: No, No Nano. You will love it.

iPod nano

iPodnano

The new iPod nano is here to replace the iPod mini series. As of Wednesday September 7th 2005, the iPod mini is no longer available through the Apple Store website.

Never before has something so small held so many possibilities. Up to 1,000 songs. Full-color album art and photos. Podcasts. Audiobooks. Games, clocks, contacts and calendars. All in an iPod that weighs less than a single CD case. Now that’s huge.

Overview

Only .27 inches thin and 1.5 ounces, iPod nano packs a lot into its diminutive design. Up to 14 hours of battery life(1). 2GB or 4GB of storage.(2) A bright color display. The Apple Click Wheel. A Dock connector that fits an entire ecosystem of iPod accessories. With so many features like these, iPod nano can change the way you listen to music — and more. Click on a feature to see it on the iPod nano display, then read about it here.

Music

Finding and playing music on iPod nano is simple. Menu options let you browse by artist, composer, album, song, genre or playlist. Want to mix things up? Click Shuffle Songs. iPod nano makes your music look as good as it sounds, thanks to a 1.5-inch color display. Album art appears alongside your songs, so you see your music as you play it. And when you dare to wear iPod nano, you’ll say a lot in 176-by-132 pixels — without saying a word.

Extras

Your calendar, contacts and the World Clock appear in Extras, along with a few more handy items. Take the Screen Lock, for example. Use the Click Wheel to choose a four-digit combination and protect your iPod nano from prying eyes. Store Notes that sync your to-do lists. Or try the built-in Stopwatch that logs your best times. And when it’s finally time to play, iPod nano features four fun games: Music Quiz, Solitaire, Brick and Parachute.

Going through the list of features at the Apple iPod nano website has made me jealous enough to actually consider getting an iPod nano. :|

Anyway if anyone out there want to get me an iPod nano, I will give him my iPod mini. How that for a deal? ;)

The first mobile phone with iTunes

Introducing iTunes for your mobile phone. With iTunes on your Motorola ROKR, you can listen to music on your mobile phone, wherever, whenever you want.

It Rings and Sings

iTunes Phone

With iTunes for your mobile phone, your songs live right alongside your contacts. Think of it as musical multitasking. Hear a selection of your favorite tunes while sending text messages, taking pictures or checking your email. Listen through the included stereo headphones or out loud on the ROKR’s speakers. You can even pause the music when your phone rings, so you won’t miss any incoming calls.

As Easy As It Sounds

The Motorola ROKR’s handy iTunes menu interface lets you scroll through your playlists, select a song and play it — complete with any accompanying album art. You can even shuffle songs right from the main menu. And putting your music on the ROKR is as easy as syncing to iTunes, the world’s best digital jukebox. Just connect the ROKR to your Mac or PC, then choose the songs you want to sync or let iTunes choose them for you — autofilling your phone with a random selection from your iTunes music library.

Cingular Sensation

As the exclusive U.S. carrier for the Motorola ROKR, Cingular Wireless offers great plans to go along with your iTunes-enabled phone. Only Cingular lets you get in on the action of ROKR and all its musical mobility. Plus, ROKR phones from Cingular come pre-upgraded to support up to 100 songs. That’s a lot of music for your money.

Mac OS X Tiger Widgets

Hello people,

I was browsing the web wondering how can I create a widget. Well found it and created one. The best way to go by it is to get an existing one and edit it. Thats what I did. Since widgets are html, css, javascript and png’s I had not problem at all.

So if you are using Mac OS X Tiger click here to download the widget in zip format or here to download the widget in tar.gz format and tell me what you think of it.

Now when I get better I will create something more than just an rss feed of this blog.

Thats all, enjoy.
