It’s a kind of a Cheaper by the Dozen by splitting the parents and giving them both a lot of kids, as close to a dozen they could give without getting sued I guess. Making the kids completely different so that it will be funnier and more “difficult” to live together.
Overall I think that it’s a really nice, try with a lot of pranks. I believe that if this one came out before Cheaper by the Dozen then it would be an even more of a hit.
